About Us
Twin River Children’s Center, also known as TRCC, is a non-profit childcare center located at 76 Seminary Hill in West Lebanon, NH. TRCC has been serving the families of NH and VT for over 20 years. Originally named Tiny Town Daycare and housed on-site at the VA Hospital in White River Junction, Twin River has long been a valuable resource to families. In the mid-1990’s, TRCC moved to its current site on Seminary Hill and has continued to strive to fit the needs of the local community. These days, it’s rare to encounter someone who doesn’t know “someone who used to go here” within our local community. We are proud to hold such history.
When fully enrolled, TRCC serves 48 infants and children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years old, split up into four classrooms.
Twin River believes all children deserve a chance to reach their full potential and we strive to provide a nurturing environment that encourages children to take appropriate risks, ask questions, learn through trial and error, and explore and develop at their own pace. Our curriculum highlights play-based learning that is led by the children’s own interests. We spend a lot of time outside.
We understand that when it comes to kids and their families, there is no “one size fits all” and we strive to build strong, individualized relationships with each child to bridge the gap between school and home, so that each family will feel supported, and each child will feel secure and can become a successful, life-long learner.
